Blog Hop

Hi! Thank you for stopping by for the Stampin Stars Blog Hop! Once you have finished looking here, hop over to Louise by pressing the next button! I hope you are getting lots of inspiration!

Here are my two projects:

As soon as I saw the Seasonal Catalogue (please see next post for more information!) I fell in love with the Gift Bow Bigz L Die. I just knew it would look sensational on cards and gift bags. I also had a feeling it would look even more amazing covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

 Tutorial coming soon!!

Supplies:
Card: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake (Bow), Seasons of Style DSP
Ink: Cherry Cobble, Old Olive
Stamp: Christmas Collectibles
Other: Christmas Ornament Punch, Gift Bow Bigz L Die, Bakers Twine

I also made this cute little card using the Wishing You stamp set. I cut out the bottom present and replaced it with a Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate!! What could be better to go on a card!! I used Dazzling Diamonds on the background, as after all, what is Christmas without glitter?!

Supplies:
Card: Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Seasons of Style DSP
Ink: Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black
Stamp: Wishing You, Petite Pairs
Other: Bakers Twine, Stylish Striped Embossing Folder, Dazzling Diamonds

Oh Hello!

I wanted to try and make a slightly masculine card today. It's not exactly how I planned it, but I still like it. The original idea was CASE'd from Pinterest, but there was no name to credit to.

Supplies:
Card: Natural White, Midnight Muse
Ink: Crumb cake, Midnight Muse, Gumball Green,
Stamp: Oh Hello
Other: Mini  Brad, Bakers Twine (early espresso)

En Francais

Here is a card using my two current favourite stamp sets; Everything Eleanor, En Francais. I love how the background stamp makes a simple card something special.
What's your favourite stamp?

Supplies:
Card: Natural White, Early Espresso
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Strawberry Slush
Stamp: En Francais, Everything Eleanor, Sweet Essentials

Calypso Coral & Coastal Cabana

I love the amount of colours Stampin Up has on offer. I find it fun to pick two colours as inspiration.
This time I picked Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana. Orange and blue are not two colours I would normally put together, but I think they go together great!

Supplies:
Card: Coastal Cabana, Early Espresso, Natural White
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Early Espresso, Natural White
Stamps: Morning Meadow
Other: Ribbon (coloured with Coastal Cabana) Mini button

Simple & Sweet

This card is really simple and quick to make. I used the Stampin Wheel Travel Journal, to stamp the writing on the background.
*TIP* I sponged the ink onto the wheel to make the stamp 'shabby'.
I raised the leaves and the butterflies up using Stampin Dimensionals.

Supplies:
Card: Whisper White
Ink: Crumb Cake, Primrose Petals, Gumball Green, Rasberry Ripple
Stamps: Curly Cute, Kindness Matters, Travel Journal, Blooming Marvelous
Other: Bakers Twine

Everything Eleanor

Everything Eleanor is one of my favourite stamp sets. I love the big flourish, it can make a plain background stunning! This card was fairly quick to make. I think it's quite elegant and would make a lovely wedding invite. What do you think?

If you would learn to make cards, send me a message. If you are in the area, (Waterlooville, Portsmouth) then you can come to a class. Otherwise, I can give you more information about distance classes!!

Supplies:
Card: Whisper White, Crumb Cake

Thank You!

I love this card! I CASE'd it from InkyPinkies. CASE means Copy and Steal Everything. As long as you give credit to the creator, you are free to take their idea and either copy it exactly, or change bits. I love to find a card on Pinterest and mix up their idea.

I decided to use the Stampin Up! markers to add a little bit of colour to the edge of each petal.

Supplies:
Card: Crumb Cake, Red Razzleberry, Midnight Muse
Ink: Pool Party, Midnight Muse, Basic Black
Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Petite Pairs, En Francais
Others: Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Blossom Punch

Stampin on Vellum

A lot of time and effort into making this card! It looks fairly simple but believe me, it took a long time!

I have been wanting to use Vellum on my cards for a while now, but have never decided what I wanted to do! I used the my favourite stamp, En Francais,  behind the Vellum to give it an extra dimension.

Supplies:
Card: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Ink: 2013-2014 In colour markers, Early Espresso
Stamp: En Francais, Flower Shop, Kindness Matters (retired)
Other: Chevron Ribbon in Calypso Coral

Dress Lipstick Holder

While cards are my favourite thing to make, I also love making cute paper keepsakes. Most of the time I make boxes for my cards. Today I decided to play with the Dress Up Framelits. The Framelits are used on the Big Shot and in seconds you have a cute little dress. I got this idea from Stamp and Stretch.

I cut out two of the dress shapes and made a little box. Stuck it all together and it was done! It really is that simple. I think these would be great as little gifts, what do you think?

Supplies:
Card: Red Razzleberry, scrap card
Other: Dress up Framelits: 130101, Pearls 119247, Ribbon

Crumb Cake

Crumb Cake is my favourite Stampin Up! colour. It may be a little boring, but it goes with everything!! I also used the new Gingham Wheel to add a little something to a simple card. What do you think?!

Supplies:

Stamps: Flower Shop, Gingham Wheel, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink: Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse
Card: Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Other: Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Pearl Piercing tool

Black, Gray & a little Red!

Flower Shop is my new favourite Stamp Set! It is so versatile and looks so pretty.
I used a circle punch to create the embellishment on the bottom, I stuck it to the card, then cut it to size. The red embellishments are pearls I colored in!

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Flower Shop, One in a Million
Ink: Smoky Gray, Black
Card: Black, Natural White
Other: Pearls

Morning Meadow & a little bit of Glitter!

Morning Meadow is a hostess stamp set. If you would like to find out how to buy this set, or host a party of your own, send me a message!

The glitter doesn't show up very well on this photograph, but I think it looks really sweet in real life.

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Morning Meadow, Petite Pairs

Paper: Early Espresso, Pool Party

Ink: Early Early Espresso

Other: Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Dazzling Diamonds glitter
